Gains and losses: The state of women and financial services

Women’s unique life experiences shape their approach to financial planning and retirement readiness. While research shows that women make up 40% of all Americans with gross investable assets over $600,000, many are dissatisfied with the services they receive from financial professionals. Fortunately, there are several reasons to be optimistic that, through innovative technology and an industry increasingly aware of women’s purchasing power, more resources are becoming available to help them chart their financial futures.

In this Twitter chat, Milliman’s Pat Renzi and Suzanne Norman will discuss some of the distinct challenges women face when it comes to financial planning. They will also highlight the advantages of increasing women's roles in the financial services industry.
