Overview of Medicare Advantage supplemental healthcare benefits and review of Contract Year 2021 offerings

This paper gives an overview of Medicare Advantage and the additional benefits included that go beyond traditional Medicare. Recently, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services gave more flexibility to Medicare Advantage organizations for these benefits and Milliman reviewed the number of Medicare Advantage plans using the new flexibility in 2021.
