Milliman 2021 Dental Survey
In December 2021, Milliman released its second Dental Survey Premium Report. This report represents 48 carriers and $37 billion of inforce premium. The survey focuses on dental products and gathers information on sales, inforce, and membership data. In addition, the report takes a deeper look at benefit frequency limitations, pricing components, commissions, risks, competitors, and market topics. We provide trending information from our previous dental survey where available. Data is also segmented by individual, commercial, small group, and large group, as well as under 65 and 65 plus. We then synthesize this data to provide a high-level analysis of key market trends with insights from our consultants.
