Jennifer Janvrin
Jen Janvrin is a senior benefits consultant in Milliman Omaha’s Employee Benefits Health and Welfare Practice. Jen works closely with employers, professional employer organizations, and their advisors and vendors on the design, budgeting, funding, and implementation of employee benefit plans.
Experience
Since joining Milliman in 2005, Jen has been involved in a wide range of projects and clients. Jen consults with employers by providing high-level data analyses in a way that is understandable. She continues to work with clients and other Milliman consultants in the delivery and enhancement of these products and the development of new products to assist employer groups.
In her current position as a Senior Benefits Consultant, Jen specializes in the following:
- Assessing rate renewals from insurance carriers
- Benchmarking plan designs and recommending changes
- Completing analyses of plan design changes using Milliman’s proprietary actuarial cost model, Health Cost Guidelines, and Dental Cost Guidelines
- Conducting Small Group Medical Underwriting
- Consulting PEO clients through Renewal Analytics tools
- Performing renewal underwriting analysis for PEO clients
- Assessing small employers’ past and future expected claims costs relative to a carrier’s block of business
- Assessing the feasibility of self-insurance
- Analyzing the effect of consumer driven health plans
