Jessica Kildow
Jessica Kildow is a consulting actuary with the Milwaukee office of Milliman. She joined the firm in 2016.
Experience
Medicare ACO Experience
Jessi spends significant time supporting accountable care organizations (ACOs) participating in the Medicare Shared Savings Program. She has assisted ACOs in many areas, including:
- Evaluating the financial impact of rule changes
- Assessing the financial impact of benchmark rebasing
- Analyzing and discussing ideas for future policy changes
- Supporting ACOs’ financial monitoring efforts
- Reviewing and interpreting the Medicare Physician Fee Schedules
- Quantifying participants’ contributions to ACO performance
- Assisting ACOs with key strategic decisions, including program selection and participant list decisions
- Estimating ACOs’ performance year risk scores
Outside of her client consulting work, Jessi leads a portion of Milliman’s ACO Builder product team and supports licensees of that tool.
Medicaid ACO Experience
Jessi also has experience working with Medicaid managed care, primarily from the plan perspective. In particular, she supports a plan’s reserving and financial monitoring efforts. Historically, Jessi has also spent significant time setting managed care capitation rates from a state perspective.
Volunteer Experience
Outside of her experience with Milliman, Jessi supports the Network of Actuarial Women and Allies (NAWA) through her role on NAWA’s Leadership Council, and she volunteers each week with Braven, an organization with a mission to empower promising, underrepresented young people.
