Subhash Khanna
Subhash Khanna is a consulting actuary with Milliman’s life insurance consulting practice in India and is based in New Delhi. He joined the firm in 2015.
Experience
Subhash has over 12 years of life insurance consulting experience, serving clients across the globe, especially in India and the Asia-Pacific region.
Subhash was one of the founding members of Milliman’s life insurance consulting practice based in New Delhi. This team provides consulting services to our clients across the globe, including the USA, EMEA, and the Asia-Pacific region.
Before joining Milliman, Subhash was part of Swiss Re’s life and health actuarial team. At Swiss Re, Subhash was heavily involved in developing a unified actuarial model. The model was designed to produce results on the local statutory, Swiss, and US GAAP basis for Swiss Re entities across the globe. He was also involved in the automation and implementation of the Risk Agility system used for valuation and reporting.
He also worked with SunGard where he was part of their Prophet team based in Hong Kong. At SunGard, he worked on Prophet model implementations and testing. He supported large-scale Prophet Enterprise deployments for clients in Asia. He was also responsible for training clients on Prophet and ALS.
At Milliman, he has worked on several embedded / appraisal valuations, especially in the context of M&As and IPOs, in India, the Middle East, and the Asia-Pacific region. His project work includes:
- Supporting ICICI Prudential in its IPO – the first insurance IPO in India
- Supporting HDFC Life in its IPO preparations
