Experience
Since joining the firm in 2005, Josh has focused on consulting for multiemployer pension plans. He advises a wide range of multiemployer trusts on defined benefit plan issues, including actuarial valuations, plan design analysis, benefit and cost projections, assumption studies, and pension administration. Josh has also been instrumental in implementing and promoting the Sustainable Income Plan for current and prospective clients.

In February, the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation issued a proposed rule to amend and simplify the calculation of withdrawal liability for plans with rehabilitation plans or funding improvement plans that have made certain benefit or contribution changes. This paper provides a detailed review of these proposed rules.
