David E. Forbes
Dave Forbes is a principal and consulting actuary with Milliman’s Little Falls, New Jersey, office. He joined the firm in 1994.
Experience
Dave has more than 30 years of experience in consulting with not-for-profit and corporate clients on their benefits programs, including multi-employer plans, medical and life insurance plans, and supplemental plans for executives. He provides advice on a wide range of topics, including U.S. and international accounting, funding issues, experience studies, plan redesign (including cash balance plan conversions), mergers and acquisitions, plan terminations, and window programs. Other significant experience includes plan documents, modeling of projected plan liabilities and costs, compliance with nondiscrimination testing requirements, benefit calculation systems, and benefits administration.
Dave has published articles and has spoken on various topics at Milliman and other professional meetings. He has assisted clients with onsite projects, including benefits management and an annuity reserving system for a major insurer.
