Ryan Ellsworth is an actuary with Milliman’s Albany office. He joined Milliman in March 2009.

Experience

As a member of the Defined Benefit Actuarial Services Team, Ryan’s duties include:

Participating in all phases of the actuarial pension valuation process
Preparing census data requests
Reviewing and reconciling participant data
Reconciling plan assets
Setting up the actuarial valuation using the ProVal valuation system
Reviewing valuation output and checking sample results
Drafting actuarial valuation reports and associated funding calculations
Drafting IRS Form 5500 and PBGC Form 1
Preparing participant annual benefit projection statements
Reviewing benefit calculations for participants who are terminating employment or retiring
Working with projection models for FAS and ERISA purposes
