The Health, Employment, Labor and Pensions Subcommittee of the House Education and Labor Committee held a hearing to examine ways to increase health care insurance coverage for Americans through their employer. While nearly 47 million Americans currently have no health insurance at all, more than 27 million of those uninsured have jobs.
Bruce Pyenson, a principal and consulting actuary in the New York office of Milliman, participated as one of the subcommittee hearing witnesses.
