Published in Medical Liability Monitor's October 2008 issue, this article reveals the results of our 18th annual survey of physicians' liability insurance rates. The article discusses how insurers' increased use of schedule credits translates into an even larger decline in rates than the data indicates. Possible reasons for recent reductions in claims frequency are also posited. A sidebar explains in detail the methodology used to obtain the study data.
