The Interstate Insurance Product Regulation Compact, which offers approval of new product submissions in 60 days or less, has sparked new interest in the speed with which insurers are able to launch new products. Milliman conducted a survey in order to gain an understanding of companies’ participation in the Interstate Compact. The survey examines company decisions to file—or not file—through the Interstate Compact, as well as the experiences of companies that have filed submissions.
