Benefits of public-private partnerships in health microinsurance: the Kenyan context

Kenya’s National Hospital Insurance Fund provides a foundation for providing access to health insurance and healthcare services. In order to improve coverage rates across the country, particularly in rural areas, the programme may consider partnering with health microinsurers, which can offer hospital cash and value-added services.
