Eleanor’s area of expertise is health insurance. She assists clients with many aspects of their plans, including:

• Bid support and substantiation for Medicare Advantage and Part D plans
• Statements of actuarial opinion for actuarial liabilities
• Calculation of health reserves and IBNR for group, individual, and Texas Medicaid lines of business
• Utilization and cost benchmarking
• Rate adequacy
• Financial forecasting
• Medical data cleaning, analysis, and modeling

Eleanor is deeply involved in the development of multiple Milliman products. She helped lead the buildout and manages ongoing updates of Milliman DEPTH, a strategic planning tool for employers that distills claims experience into intelligible and actionable information. In addition, she is involved with research and development for the latest state-of-the-art models included in the Milliman Advanced Risk Adjusters (MARA) product suite.
