In 2019, the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation (CMMI) introduced a new Medicare Fee-for-Service (FFS) risk program, Direct Contracting (DC). DC includes a number of model options which offer a wide range of options for entities to take risk for Medicare FFS beneficiaries and directly contract with providers.
