The Milliman SIP is a retirement plan that addresses risk in a sensible way. For years, sponsors have debated the merits of defined benefit (DB) versus defined contribution (DC) plans. New hybrid regulations now provide another choice. The Milliman SIP is a retirement plan designed to provide participants lifelong income, like a DB plan, while remaining well-funded and providing contribution stability in all market conditions, like a DC plan. This design truly is the best of both worlds.
