Tax reform: Disability income and group life

This article discusses the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017’s projected effects on disability income and group life insurance profitability. Our analysis measures the impact on an illustrative plan of each of the following types: individual disability, group long-term disability income, group short-term disability income, and group life insurance with waiver of premium.
