Mid-Year 2016 Financial Results for Medical Professional Liability Specialty Writers

At the midpoint of 2016, medical professional liability (MPL) specialty writers continue to produce positive operating results. Recent financial results for the composite have shown a leveling off of the now decade-long decline in MPL volume. Premium through the second quarter of 2016 declined just 0.2% compared to the same point in 2015.
